Hosanna Hirano
4歳から祖母に教わり刺繍や編み物を始める。
2011年、文化服装学院デザイン科卒業。
卒業後、Rei the lace chamber デザイナーとして在籍。
2017年、自宅アトリエにてtowelket tokyoをスタート。
2019年より単身渡豪。オートクチュールウェディングドレスのアトリエ Mariana Hardwick Emprium にて FINISHER (手刺繍技師) として従事。
メルボルンフィッツロイにて手刺繍ワークショップを開催。ソーイングクラスの講師を経験。
帰国した現在、都内アトリエにてフリーランスデザイナー・ドレスメーカーとしてものづくりを続ける。
文化服装学院准教員免許保有。
Belgian home linen brand 「Libeco」日本代理店にて縫製、刺繍技師としての経歴。
ものづくりに込める想い
近年、流行を追い求め多くの服がいとも簡単に捨てられています。日本で１年間に廃棄される服は、33億着。そのうちの15億着は一度も袖を通されることなく捨てられる新品の売れ残りだと言われています。
私は towelket tokyo のものづくりを通し、ミニマルでスローなファッションの時代に戻ることを提案します。
「これからの人生に時間と共に永く愛せる服を選び、丁寧にお手入れをすること」これこそがファッションを楽しむということではないでしょうか。
私が仕立てるお洋服は、トレンドに左右されないクラシカルでシンプルな心地の良いシルエットと、アートを纏うような特別感のある手刺繍の融合です。全てのデザイン、パターン、カット、縫製、手刺繡は私一人で行っています。丁寧且つ妥協のない手仕事で、今後数十年にわたるあなたの人生に寄り添うお洋服をお届けします。制作にはお時間をいただくこともありますが、待つ価値のある仕上がりをご期待いただければ幸いです。

I believe that we should not have to choose between fashion and sustainability. My mission is to create staple pieces that can be worn again and again for decades to come, without falling out of style or falling apart.
In today’s world, so many clothes are created to follow a fad, only to be thrown away in a few short years. I aim to return to the days of minimal fashion with towelket tokyo.
I create clothing that no matter the trend, they will always be classical with hand embroidery that gives them a special feel that resembles art. Like each person on this planet, my clothes are unique and no single piece is like another. Each design, pattern, cut, sew and embroidery is done by me. The process is slow, but worth the wait.
Through every step of the process, I am extremely conscious of our planet's resources. With natural linens, simple packaging, towelket tokyo is a clothing line for the environmentally conscious who look beyond fads and aim to be timeless. These are pieces that can be worn every day of the week, without fear of them being worn down or out of touch.

私の名前 Hosanna はヘブライ語で「主よ、救ってください」 Hallelujah と同様キリストを賛美する言葉です。
大人になってからクリスチャンになった私には、時に聖書を素直に信じることが難しいと思うことがあります。
でも虫、鳥、草木、花などをみていると、それらのデザインはどう考えても自然発生したとは到底思えない完全美のアートであり、「神様が存在している」という確信をくれるのです。
ながい人生の中で、自分自身の価値を見失って孤独や不安がやってくる時が誰にでもあると思います。そんな時、私の草花や虫たちの刺繍を通し、私たちひとりひとりを絶えず愛してくれる主に出会うきっかけになればと祈ります。
