今日は2019年5月から10ヶ月余り過ごしたオーストラリアはメルボルンの思い出をたくさんの写真とともに振り返ってみます。

Today, I’m going to share my memories from my trip to Melbourne, Australia through various pictures.
5月のメルボルンは秋。冷たい雨が降る真夜中、私はメルボルンに到着しました。お金がホントになかったわたしはドミトリーに向かいます。
Melbourne in May is autumn.
Arriving during a downpour, I headed to a hostel because I did not even have one dollar to my name.
16人部屋。世界各国からの旅人の中に交じり初めての夜。
同じ部屋のドイツ人の同い年の女の子と、メルボルンで
始めてのお友達になりました。
I made my first friend in Melbourne, who was a German girl the same age as me, in a 16 bedroom room with travellers from all over the world.
翌朝、真っ青で大きくて、信じられないほどに壮大なメルボルンの空に、一瞬で恋しました。
不安も孤独も、全部抱きしめてくれるオーストラリアの空。
The next morning, I fell in love with the deep blue, huge, and incredibly magnificent Melbourne sky.
The embrace of the Australian sky alleviates all anxiety and loneliness.
メルボルンはバリスタを目指し、たくさんの人が集まるコーヒーの町。路地に入ると個性的なカフェが軒を連ね、新鮮なコーヒーの香りが立ち込めます。
Melbourne is a coffee city where many gather with the aim to become a barista.
When you enter an alley, you will find unique cafes lined up with the aroma of fresh coffee.
もちろん、町の至るところにストリートアートたち。メルボルンの見所のひとつ。
Of course, one of the highlights of Melbourne is the street art painted throughout the city.
ここはわたしがメルボルンで一番大好きな場所です。週末、この小さくてあたたかなアトリエで刺繍のワークショップを開催していました。
フィッツロイは生地やさん、紙やさん、小さくてユニークなブティックが並ぶ、おしゃれな通りです。
This is my favourite place in Melbourne. On every weekend, I used to hold an embroidery workshop in this lovely atelier.
Fitzroy is a fashionable street. There are fabric stores, wrapping paper stores and small, unique boutiques.
平日は、メルボルンでは有名なウェディングドレスクチュールMariana Hardwickeにてハンドフィニッシャーとしてお世話になりました。
毎日を全走力で駆け抜け、たくさんの学びがありました。ここで働いた経験はわたしの人生のたからものです。
On weekdays, I worked as a hand finisher at the famous wedding dress couture Mariana Hardwick in Melbourne.
I learned a lot. My experience from working here is precious.
仕事が終わると、帰り道のメルボルンのシンボルでもあるヤラリバーのほとりで、暗くなるまで刺繍をしていました。
On the way back from work, I used to embroider on the banks of the Yarra River, which is also a symbol of Melbourne.
毎週日曜日はヤラリバーのほとりの教会で礼拝に参加していました。
メルボルンに来た時も、去る時も、この十字架の前でパスターが祈ってくださいました。
Every Sunday, I used to attend a church service on the banks of the Yarra River.
礼拝が終わると、リバー沿いにサンデーマーケットが開かれていて、メルボルンの作家さん達とのふれあいも楽しい時間でした。
After the service, a Sunday market was held along the river, and it was an enriching experience to interact with the makers in Melbourne.
最初はお金がなくて選んだドミトリーは、もう実家みたくなって、だいたい2か月はいたかな。。
After all, the hostel was like my second home, I stayed here about 2 months.
